TMI journey started back in 1990 purely as ship handling agent. We represented break-bulk shipping companies, oil tankers and live-stock carriers as ship agents and simultaneously providing cargo brokerage, and later containers. Over the period, we expanded into freight forwarding as a special field of activity, with ship handling separated into a fully owned sister-company domain.

TMI also served as agents of a large container leasing company to whom we provided sales, storage, maintenance and re-sale services. Also, Charter brokerage has served the local trade.

TMI offices were situated in a historic building near the port but moved to newer premises in another business district of Karachi, not too far from the Port and Customs, yet closer to industry and trade sector.

The Company is by now a well-known freight forwarder, with access to both ports, Karachi and Port Qasim. Associations have been built up at cargo-generating areas in the north and south of the Country. Similarly the new Port of Gwadar to the west is served.

TMI is well staffed with cumulative experience of over 100 tears and covers all sectors/departments required.

TMI is a member of several trade bodies and associations and follows industry Code of Conduct.
